Lloyds has carefully searched the product lines of all the major manufacturers to find the best value in mid-level digital technology. We have found the TARGA circuit from Rexton provides truly outstanding performance at an amazingly affordable price.

Rexton Targa Plus HP BTE Customer Reviews james r.'s Product Review for December 16, 2008
In the past, if you have been told that you cannot wear a CIC because it does not deliver the power your hearing loss requires, that may no longer be the case. Siemens has recently developed a tiny CIC that not only delivers as much power as a Behind-the-Ear instrument, but also is bundled with many of Siemens’ proven technologies to enhance your listening experience. Thanks to the NITRO 16, you can enjoy the desirable cosmetic advantages of a CIC but receive the high power you need.
Product Highlights:
Data Logging - collect information on hearing preferences such as duration of use, volume changes, and program usage that can be used for more accurate future programming needs
Adaptive Noise Reduction & Speech Enhancement - minimizes background noises that can interfere with listening enjoyment, all while enhancing speech intelligibility
Automatic Situation Detection (optional) - allows you the freedom of letting the hearing instrument choose the appropriate listening program for any situation you may be in (can also detect music)
Standard SIEMENS Nitro 16 CIC Features:
For mild to severe hearing losses
Programmable, 16-channel digital signal processing
Background noise reduction with speech enhancement
Feedback (phase) cancellation
Data logging
Up to three individual listening programs
Push button only, no volume control wheel
Automatic situation detection, including music detection
Single channel digital signal processing with 1 manual adjustment trimmer screws for simple, flexible fitting
Low Cut (NH) - for controlling the amount of low bassy tones
Microphone noise reduction for improved listening in quiet situations…you won’t hear circuit noise when in quiet environments
Easily accessible push button for selecting between 2 hearing programs:
Comfort – reduced gain with increased compression
Power – full gain (no compression)
Audible beep for program and volume control change
Feedback Cancellation
Volume control (toggle switch type)

Lloyds Stock Mini Canal Aid - Analog iHear Customer Reviews Clyde L Lancaster's Product Review for May 17, 2005
Ordering was easy.....Hearing aid is great. Just what I needed.
Suzanne Borst's Product Review for March 27, 2006
Yes, I have used this aid before and like it very much.
Jim's Product Review for July 31, 2008
I use the Lloyd mini-canal iHear aid for both ears now. My first mini-canal was a right ear only as I needed to learn if this aid would work for me. Following a couple of weeks of using a few times per day, I began to adapt to the foreign object in my ear and the comfort and tolerance level increased.
One day I left the aid in my pants pocket and it went into the wash. I was sure the aid would be useless now. However, following a 24 hour drying at room temperature the aid performed as it did prior to being washed. Sadly, after enduring the baptism, I lost the aid in an airport.
I have the aids now and they serve me well.
When I call Lloyd's I get a real person right away and enjoy their friendly tone and helpful procedures.

Don Smith's Product Review for May 8, 2008
This was my first HA and although it is not the type recommended to me by audiologist I wanted to try an inexpensive device. I have a mild ski slope hearing loss in upper frequencies. These have a hard shell so Comfy strips are a real must to keep these in place in your ear if you do not select a custom ear mold. As a basic instrument, they will amplify your surrounding sounds. I wore there for a little more than a week and adjusted the High Frequency trim pot (potentiometer) only a small amount from the average setting. Loud sharp noises are also amplified and were difficult to withstand! I suffered from occlusion and did not like the sensation this caused. I felt that this basic analog instrument was not complex enough for my needs, although they may be OK for someone in a more sedimentary home atmosphere lifestyle and very limited monetary means. These were a good trial for me and I appreciate Lloyds providing the opportunity to supply me with a solution to my hearing loss.

Jim Walker's Product Review for March 4, 2005
I purchased the model 180 in 2002 and have been very pleased with the results. The earmold kit came with complete instructions and was easy to do. The hearing aid has been very accurate and very reliable. Lloyds service is the best. Thank you.
Joe Dell's Product Review for June 1, 2007
I have been using your full shell style hearing aid for the past 15 years and I must say, the quality is better then what you would expect. As far as how many years will it last? I can't answer that because my dog seems to like it as much as I do.
Sincerely, Joe Dell
The term Half-Shell Hearing Aid refers to the size of this hearing aid. A Half-Shell Hearing Aid Hearing Aid aid is considered "medium" in comparison to other In-The-Ear types of hearing aids. It's not as large as the Full-Shell aid that fills up the entire bowl of the ear, nor is it as small as a Canal Aid that fits just at the opening of the ear canal. The faceplace is generally about the size of a nickel, although this will depend upon the individual's ear size and what "extras" may be installed into the aid. All Half-Shell Hearing Aids use the size #312 battery. These are custom built aids, so the size and shape will perfectly match the curves and contours of the user's individual ear. To make a custom aid we need impressions of the user's ears. This can easily be done right at home. Tens of thousands of Lloyd's customers have successfully done this over the past 40 years with no problems. It's a very safe and simple procedure. Everything necessary to make impressions of your ears is sent at no charge.
The standard Half-Shell Hearing Aid is an analog instrument and is built to match the user's hearing loss. We like to have audiograms (hearing loss charts) if possible. It is very helpful but not absolutely necessary. The more complete of a description of a person's hearing loss, the better able we are to meet the need. The standard Half-Shell Hearing Aid comes with a volume control wheel and one free trimpot. The trimpot is usually a tone control for ability to tune the aid to specific frequency emphasis. The Half-Shell Hearing Aid aid can be made with up to 50dB of gain, making it appropriate for a wide degree of hearing losses ranging from mild all the way up to moderately severe. Most Half-Shell Hearing Aids also feature venting through the shell which allows the aid to "breathe" while it's being worn. This helps alleviate the sensation of "talking in a barrel" for its wearer. The standard Half-Shell Hearing Aid comes with a one year warranty, cleaning tools, free batteries, carrying pouch and all items needed in order to wear the aid right out of the box. Extended warranties are available at a reasonable cost.

monica giraldo's Product Review for September 27, 2007
I would like to say thanks to LLoys. It was my first time using hearing aids when I purchased the completely in canal. Honestly in the beggining I almost sent it back. It was just a matter of getting use. Now I feel more confident and thanks to the size, I dont mind using it anytime, anywhere. I strongly recommend this product, not only for the quality but for the affordable price and payments plan. Thank you for this change in my life.
patty dunham's Product Review for April 10, 2006
****NOTE FROM LLOYDS***** This person did not purchase their instrument from Lloyds. There is no indication regarding the mfgr or circuitry of this lady's aids - C.I.C. is a reference to size only. Due to our very generous trial policy, we truly do not get complaints like this . It's better for a person to return an aid (if they deal with us) than to have the sort of experience this lady is having with a local audiologist/dealer. P.S. Our custom CIC aids ARE molded to the size and shape of the client's ear. See info on website.
I bought 2 of the cic hearing aids. I went back to my local office 3 times to see why there was noise coming from the aids. They said that was normal. I finally complained enough that they sent one back to the factory to fix. I got it back 2 weeks later still sounding the same. That has happened 3 times and now I asked for my money back. Plus, I spent $3,498.00 for two CIC aids. How can you sell yours without getting the aid molded to the ear? Anyway, I am not happy with this product.
Some people just need extra help in hearing for specific situations like watching TV, riding in the car, or just around the house. The Model HA20-DX is a great solution for people with a mild to moderate hearing losses. This analog Body Aid does have a tone control, so if your hearing problem lies mostly in the higher frequencies, you (or we) can tune it in just for that. A Body Aid is an excellent choice for folks that cannot handle other, smaller kinds of hearing aids. The HA20-DX is extremely affordable both to purchase and to operate (it uses just one common size AA battery). Everything a person needs in order to wear it right out of the box is included within the purchase price. Many owners of this model use it as a reliable backup to their other style of hearing aid as well.

Rexton Model HA20-DX Body Aid Customer Reviews Bruce Trainor's Product Review for March 23, 2005
Mine arrived by mail this morning and it works just great. I hav 2 BTE aids, the newer was 1700.00 Canadian, bought just 3 months ago from a continent wide franchise and manufacturer. This cost about 250.00 US with the extra receiver.
The body mount is superior in every way to the BTE aids and works out to about 15% of the cost.
There is no background noise at all and the mushroom ear things are, to me, far more comfortable than than the plastic things that go into the the ear. The only disadvantage is that everyone thinks I am wearing a walkman. Lots of people do that by choice so that doesn't bother me. Anyway pretty doesn't cut it with me, results do. This aid give darned good results. I am glad I bought it.

Richard Silbert's Product Review for July 2, 2005
I recently purchased the HA20-DX Body Aid and I love it. I wear a BTE, but find the body aid much better, and find myself wearing almost all the time. My girlfriend thinks I hear much better with the body aid than the BTE.
Jack's Product Review for June 28, 2008
I have had several highend aids, so I really didn't expect a whole lot from this device. I was pleasantly surprised to find the HA20-DX to be a very effective aid with great audio quality and battery life. My biggest problem was where to put it. I started with the shirt pocket, Too much rubbing noise and my breathing, the same thing happened when I clipped it to my shirt collar, then my belt, to far away, cords not long enough. Then I came upon the answer, I clipped it to the bill on my baseball cap, cut a small slit in the cap, ran the wires inside the cap, and oh my God, Beautiful.....Every where I looked I could hear, gone was the rubbing and wire noise, my biggest problems were solved. For the money this really is an excellent unit easily adjustable to what you like to hear. It is far better than going without! When you need to hear, it works!
The Fusion PP Body Aid is one of the strongest hearing aids Lloyds offers. With 80dB of gain, this analog aid can be fitted to someone with a profound degree of hearing loss. When a user needs this much volume, many of the super high-powered Behind-The-Ear aids will cause feedback, or squealing, when turned up. This results in the user having to turn the volume down from its maximum level in order to be able to wear the BTE hearing aid. Body Aids are a solution to this aggravating problem. The "box" part of the aid is worn in a shirt pocket and has a cord leading up to the ear. There is a part called the Receiver ("speaker") that's at the other end of that cord and that's what is worn in the ear along with a custom earmold. This configuration of Speaker and Hearing Aid provides a much greater distance between these parts, which means the volume produced by the Receiver can be turned up much higher before the sound reaches back to the microphone pickup of the Body Aid (in the pocket).
This Fusion PP Body Aid has a modern, lightweight case design, has a black cord and receiver, large controls for those with dexterity issues, a built-in telecoil, a direct input socket (if you want to plug directly into a radio or TV), a reversible clip for the pocket, and two trimpots (tone and AGC) for fine tuning. Body Aids can generally cost up to about $1,000 in many local offices or clinics. This is an excellent price for extremely high powered amplification

Have had hearing aids for 25 years this is the best one I've had. It eliminated vrtually all feedback. Which is my worst thing with hearing aids. All they have to now is to eliminate swetting from getting into the aid. And they will have the perfect hearing aid
